2026 Generosity & Giving Pledge Campaign Begins October 25

This Sunday, October 25, Reformation Sunday, Lutheran Church of the Foothills (LCF) will launch its annual Generosity and Giving Pledge Campaign. Our theme this year, “Deep Roots. Open Hearts. Generous Lives.” reminds us that our generosity grows from the deep roots of our faith, opens our hearts to others, and inspires us to live generously in service to God and our neighbors. The campaign will culminate on Commitment Sunday, November 22.

Throughout November, during each Sunday’s worship service, we will hear personal stories from individuals and families about how a particular LCF ministry has touched their lives. These stories will remind us of the difference our congregation makes and the many ways we share the radical love of Jesus through a life of service.

An annual pledge campaign is about much more than raising the funds needed to operate our church. It is an opportunity to reflect on what our faith means to us, to give thanks for the blessings we have received, and to consider how we can share those blessings with others. Giving becomes a spiritual practice, a joyful response to God’s love, and an expression of our commitment to live out our faith.

Our annual pledges also serve an important practical purpose. They help the Church Council anticipate the resources available for the coming year and develop a responsible budget. These commitments enable us to plan for staffing, care for our church home, sustain worship, music, and education, and thoughtfully consider new opportunities to serve our community. Our ministries of social justice, radical welcome and inclusivity, and support for the vital national and international work of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America all depend on the generosity of our congregation.

Soon, you will receive a mailing from Pastor Naomi on behalf of the Generosity and Giving Team. It will include a pledge card for the 2027 calendar year. We invite you to prayerfully consider your annual gift to LCF and the many ways your generosity makes our shared ministry possible. You may make your gift online or through the offering plate, and you may return your completed pledge card to the church office, by mail, or in the offering plate on any Sunday in November.

Each of us has a part to play in sustaining the ministry we share. With deep roots in faith, open hearts to those around us, and generous lives devoted to service, we can continue to grow as a community that shares Christ’s love with the world.

Thank you for all you do in Jesus’ name and for the many ways you make Lutheran Church of the Foothills a place of faith, welcome, compassion, and service. Your generosity truly makes a difference!

With gratitude,

The Generosity and Giving Team
