Join Interfaith Community Services (ICS) for Empty Bowls 2026, ICS’s biggest community fundraiser, on Saturday, March 7, at the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center (1288 W. River Road). This inspiring event brings the community together to support those in need.

On November 6, Household Blessings celebrated its 4th anniversary as a ministry of Tanque Verde Lutheran Church. We join in this ministry by collecting good quality or gently used kitchen, bath, or bedroom items immediately after our 10:00a service on the last Sunday of each month.

Habitat for Humanity Tucson can use your help in their newest neighborhood, “Angels Crossing,” near West Ina and North Oldfather Roads. Last August, volunteers from Lutheran Church of the Foothills worked with a woman who, with her little son, will be one of 30 families in this new neighborhood.

There’s rarely a dull moment on Thursday mornings at Lutheran Church of the Foothills. Thursday Journey is a place for thoughtful conversation, faithful questioning, and lively discussion.

The Women of the ELCA (WELCA) Kino Conference is hosting a Spring Retreat on March 7, 2026, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Tucson, AZ. This year’s theme is “Hat’s Off to Faith-Hope-Love.” Registration deadline is February 20.

On Saturday, January 24, 12:00p to 1:30p, we will be planning our reading for 2026. If you’ve never joined us before, or have been away from Read & Yak for a while, January is a great month to jump in–we would love to include your suggestions in the list.

Interfaith Community Services (ICS) and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona are teaming up to spread the love through a free produce giveaway. Volunteers are needed to help sort, pack, and hand out produce.

You can participate by signing up to bring one of the meal items or serving the white chicken chili meal at the shelter. See the signup on the Activities Counter or contact the Office.
