Volunteering at this community event is an LCF Neighborhood Interaction Team activity to support the Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome (https://www.sandsaz.org). 

Join us at the Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church chapel every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month for 30 minutes of prayer, candle lighting, and singing.

Sister Jose Women’s Center is a low-barrier shelter in Tucson for women without housing. Donations can be dropped off in the blue bin at the east end of the Activities Counter.

Proceeds placed in the World Hunger Appeal Contributions Jar are shared with the ELCA’s World Hunger program. Read the new collection total for the summer!

Good quality or gently used kitchen, bath, or bedroom items will be collected immediately after the 10:00a service on the last Sunday of each month. Large items and furniture will need to be picked up by volunteers or taken to Tanque Verde Lutheran Church, 8625 E. Tanque Verde Road, Tucson, AZ.

This book study discussion group meets every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 10:30a and 5:30p at Beyond Bread on the southwest corner of Speedway and Wilmot. You don’t need to attend Lutheran Church of the Foothills or even to have read the book to participate in the discussion.

Looking to dig deeper into the Bible? Join us Wednesdays at 6:30p in-person or via Zoom for Together by Grace: Bible Conversations—a time of Scripture study, honest discussion, and community. We’ll start with the Gospel of Matthew and mix in evenings of fellowship and fun for all ages.

October 12, 2025: The Lord calls Samuel, a young boy, into service as a prophet. For his first act of prophecy, he must tell his mentor that the Lord would deliver punishment for his family’s sins. Samuel obeys and is rewarded by the Lord.
