Mahjong Is Coming October 27!

Here is an opportunity for Lutheran Church of the Foothills congregants to live out the core value of inclusivity and get to know our neighbors! A neighborhood community group invites beginner and experienced mahjong players to join them every Tuesday beginning October 27 from 12:00p to 3:00p in the Activities Room. (The group will not meet November 3, Election Day, and may meet at a different place and time on November 17. Call the office to confirm.)

Mahjong is a centuries-old, 144-tile tabletop game of skill, memory, strategy, and luck traditionally played by groups of four. A full game takes 1 to 3 hours. Bring your own drink and a basic mahjong set. If you are new to the game and don’t have a set of tiles, come anyway! The group would love to teach beginners!
