Sunday Worship Services at Lutheran Church of the Foothills

  • 8:00a Gospel Discussion & Communion

    Our 8:00a service is a smaller, reflective gathering held in the Learning Center. It includes Holy Communion, prayer, informal worship, and a facilitated discussion of the gospel reading.

  • 10:00a Celebration Service

    The 10:00a service is a blended style of worship featuring a variety of music, including the Celebration Choir, Los Campaneros Handbell Choir, special guest artists, and musicians from the congregation. Holy Communion is offered, and the sanctuary service is live-streamed and recorded for later viewing on our YouTube channel and our worship video page.

  • Online Worship

    If online worship is more your speed, the 10:00 am service is live-streamed on YouTube channel and our worship video page.

What to expect

Holy Communion

All are welcome to participate in the Lord’s Supper. There is no age requirement. It is God’s table, not ours, and all are invited. If you are spiritually hungry, come and be fed.

Children in Worship

We enjoy having children in worship, and we delight in their ability to see and experience all that is happening in the worship space. We invite you to sit anywhere you are comfortable.

  • Pray-Ground: Located in the northeast corner of the Sanctuary, this space is where young worshipers can worship, wiggle, play, color, learn, and grow as part of our faith community. Caregivers are encouraged to sit where children can see them when they are using the Pray-Ground, in case they need assistance.

  • Children’s Message: Pastor Naomi invites children to gather at the Pray-Ground during worship for a special message.

Photography and Recordings

Please note that worship services may involve photography, video, and audio recordings. Your image or voice may appear in live streams or recordings.

Hearing Assistance

We offer an Induction Loop for those who have hearing aids. Simply switch to the “T” setting on your hearing aid. Ushers can also provide you with headphones to wear during a service.

Large Print Bulletins

Large print bulletins are available from the ushers. You can also read the bulletin on your electronic device by scanning the QR code on display in the foyer.

Individual Prayer

During office hours (Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm), the church is open for prayer and quiet reflection. All are welcome to use the sanctuary or Memorial Garden for meditation.
