Primavera White Chicken Chili Delivery is April 17, 2026!

Our next opportunity to provide the hot white chicken chili meal at the Primavera Men's Shelter is April 17, 2026. You can participate by signing up on the clipboard on the Activities Counter or calling the church office to indicate that you will prepare the food in your home kitchen, provide side dishes and desserts, or serve the meal at the Shelter.

White Chicken Chili is the main entrée dish. The church provides packages of fully cooked chicken. Volunteer cooks are asked to provide beans, broth, spices, and potatoes, and bring the white chicken chili to church at serving temperature in the pans provided (same pans we have been using for the beef stew entrée). You can also sign up to bring rolls, salads with dressings, and desserts or help deliver and serve the meal at the shelter.

Lutheran Church of the Foothills has been providing a dinner to the Men’s Shelter on the third Friday of each month since the early 1990s, and volunteers are essential to this long-lasting partnership.
