Partner with Lutheran Disaster Response to Support Disaster Survivors
Catastrophic flooding . . . Dangerous heat . . . Wildfires . . .
Lutheran Disaster Response is the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s (ELCA’s) ministry to accompany disaster survivors, and is already at work with congregations, synods and local partners in affected communities in the United States and around the world.
When families are displaced by floodwater, the support from you and others in congregations like ours helps meet immediate needs such as food, shelter and clean water, and makes recovery assistance possible.
When extreme heat creates life-threatening conditions, your generosity helps provide safe and welcoming cooling spaces that support vulnerable neighbors.
When wildfires force evacuations and leave devastation behind, your gifts help sustain relief and recovery ministries long after media attention fades.
Will you consider a gift to Lutheran Disaster Response today? You can give through our congregation at lcftucson.org or with cash or check (be sure to mark your donation “Lutheran Disaster Response”), or you can give directly to Lutheran Disaster Response. There are Lutheran Disaster Response giving forms in the Narthex if you would prefer to use one of those.
