Kate Bowler, author of Everything Happens for a Reason: And Other Lies I’ve Loved, will be joined by actor Jennifer Garner for a virtual event on Monday, May 4 at 5:00p ET celebrating Kate’s book, Joyful Anyway. You are invited to join Pastor Naomi in the Activities Room at 2:00p Tucson time to view this event as a group. This online conversation focuses on finding joy “in the ache and the ordinary.”

Whether or not you participate in the Beyond the Book discussion group or read any of Kate’s books, you will find her message meets people where they are. Whether it’s burnout or caregiving, leadership or loss, audiences leave feeling seen, softened, and just a little more human.
