Caring for Our Minds and Hearts in May

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to remember that caring for our minds and hearts is an important part of our faith. Scripture reminds us that we are never alone; God walks with us in every season, offering comfort, strength, and peace.

As a church community, we are called to lift one another up and bear one another’s burdens. Throughout the month, we invite you to participate in a meaningful activity: writing positive, faith-filled affirmations. Share a word of encouragement, a short prayer, or a reminder of God’s promises, something that could bring hope to someone else. Add your message to our Affirmation Wall and help create a space filled with love, grace, and hope.

At the end of the month, everyone will be encouraged to take home the affirmations that speak to them most, words rooted in faith to carry forward as reminders of God’s presence, encouragement, and enduring love.

For those interested in learning more, resources and flyers with mental health information and support services are available in the narthex.
