Every third Friday of the month, Lutheran Church of the Foothills provides a hot stew meal to the Primavera Men’s Shelter. You can participate by signing up to bring one of the meal items or serving the stew meal at the shelter. See the signup on the Activities Counter.

Lutheran Church of the Foothills will be volunteering at Habitat for Humanity Tucson on Wednesday, August 19, 2025, from 7:00a to 1:00p.

God’s love became tangible last week in Phoenix when the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Churchwide Assembly approved the “Indian Boarding School Remembrance” memorial. This vote, along with the earlier 2016 Churchwide action to repudiate the Doctrine of Discovery, was so meaningful to our Native American siblings that they hosted a special Pow Wow Exhibition on Tuesday evening, July 29, for all Assembly attendees.

Sister Jose Women’s Center is a low-barrier shelter in Tucson for women without housing. Donations can be dropped off in the blue bin at the east end of the Activities Counter.
