Grand Canyon Synod Women of the ELCA: 31st Biennial Convention

Join the Grand Canyon Synod Women of the ELCA (WELCA) on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Faith La Fe Lutheran Church at 801 Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ, for an informative, inspirational, motivational, uplifting, and FUN time! Pastor Jacqui Pagel, Grand Canyon Synod Bishop’s Associate for Candidacy and Faith Formation and Connie Phillips, CEO and President of Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW) will be the program leaders.

Registration for the day will be $30/person, which covers registration, lunch, and various supplies for projects, including an ingathering project to show love to our Latin American siblings in the Phoenix area. Scholarships to help defray the registration fees are available and must be submitted by October 31.

Please indicate on your registration form if you are traveling to Phoenix and would like to stay in someone’s home at no cost. You will be notified by November 4th of your hostess’s name and contact information. Hotel arrangements will need to be made on your own.

In addition to the community service projects, bring fiction, non-fiction, devotional, or any book that brought joy to you to share in a Book Exchange.
