Jesus miraculously appears to his disciples, gives them the Holy Spirit, and sends them to proclaim the gospel to the world. Thomas misses it, but then Jesus appears again. Not condemning Thomas for his unbelief, Jesus warns Thomas against equating seeing and believing.
