Help Build a Better Southern Arizona Community
Habitat for Humanity Tucson has begun its newest neighborhood home build and has opportunities for you to help. The location, named “Angels Crossing,” is near West Ina Road and North Oldfather Road (4440 W Mars St, Tucson). When folks from Lutheran Church of the Foothills volunteered at Habitat’s CHUCK center on August 19, we met and worked with a young woman who, with her little son, will be one of the 30 families who will make up the Angels Crossing neighborhood.
This opportunity to serve is especially for one-time volunteers who are volunteering for just the day. You'll have a great day working with your hands, learning new skills (from painting to framing to site prep to sawing and hammering to door and window installs), and meeting new people and future home buyers.
Sign up now to spend 6 hours volunteering with Habitat for Humanity building homes, community, and hope. There are still plenty of dates available. First-time volunteers will take an online orientation course, and there will be supervisors at the building site. To get involved as a volunteer, register here → https://cerv.is/0255gWihnXX
