Helping Hands: Caring for Our Neighbors
The Helping Hands Fund at Lutheran Church of the Foothills (LCF) is a ministry of our congregation that assists individuals and families facing financial hardship, including help with utilities, medical bills, rent, and housing costs. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please get in touch with Pastor Naomi to begin a conversation about the need and what help may be available.
You can support this ministry at any time by designating a financial gift to Helping Hands.
During September, we are also collecting $40 grocery and $40 gas gift cards so that we can respond to people who arrive at the church with an immediate need. We are looking to keep only a small supply on hand and will let the congregation know when more are needed. We will continue to refer people to our partner agencies as a first step, especially when fielding phone calls. Gift cards may be placed in the offering plate inside an envelope marked "Helping Hands."
Thank you for helping LCF offer tangible care for one another and our neighbors when they need a helping hand.
