Join in Helping Arizona Families Put Food on the Table

Many of the families served by Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW) have recently lost access to SNAP benefits. They are facing impossible choices between paying rent, buying medication, or putting food on the table.

Ken Goode, a member of Lutheran Church of the Foothills and the LSS-SW Board, is participating in LSS-SW’s Feeding Families Challenge, a friendly competition among Board members to raise funds for grocery gift cards that will be distributed directly to families experiencing food insecurity.

Every dollar raised stays right here in Arizona and helps families purchase food that best meets their cultural, dietary, and household needs.
