This was our final day at the 2025 Churchwide Assembly. I think, in some ways, people were ready to go home—and in other ways, reluctant to leave such a lively and meaningful gathering.

If you are looking for great conversation, good company, and an excuse to enjoy reading a good book, then mark your calendars for noon on the 4th Saturday of every month, bring your lunch, and join us either in person in the Activities Room at church, or online via Zoom. You do not need to be affiliated with Lutheran Church of the Foothills to participate.

During August, Pastor Naomi will teach a series on the faith of women in the Bible and how their faith can help grow yours. The series will feature art by Sarah Beth Baca.
