Different Gifts, Same Spirit

Look what was found on the back of an offering envelope in a sanctuary pew rack on February 1, 2026! This small “gift” is an example of Paul’s reminder in his letter to the church in Corinth, “Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are different ministries, but the same Lord. And there are different results, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the benefit of all.” (I Cor. 12:4-7, emphasis added)

As we enter a new year, this simple drawing is a good reminder that we have all been given at least one gift from God, and that every gift is to be used for the benefit of all. Use your gift. You benefit, the church benefits, and the community benefits. Most importantly, God is glorified.

Finally, thanks to the “Mystery Artist” who may have inspired someone today.
