ELCA Presiding Bishop-elect Yehiel Curry

The Rev. Yehiel Curry was elected as the next presiding bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) at the ELCA Churchwide Assembly in Phoenix, Arizona, on July 30, 2025. He began this role on Oct. 1, 2025, and will be installed on Oct. 4 at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. The service begins at 2:00p CST and will be livestreamed.
